CBF SOG 2023

And whoever gives one of these little ones even a cup of cold water because he is a disciple, truly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward. - Matthew 10:42

Each year around the holidays, Covenant Blessing Fellowship does various Season of Giving (SOG) activities. We spread God's love and share tangible blessings with individuals and families. In the past, we have provided food, toys, personal items, and other gifts to bring holiday cheer locally and throughout the world. We are hoping to make this year’s Season of Giving exceptional because God’s blessings to us continue to be exceptional.

Special Notice

If any of our CBF families find themselves struggling to provide food for their families, especially for holiday meals, don’t endure this struggle silently. Email us at CBF.Ministries1@Gmail.com and we will do what we can to help your family celebrate these special occasions. This applies to Christmas also. If you need gifts for your children, let us know. We will assist you with a gift or two so that our youth can enjoy Holy-day spirit.

Sharing with Others

Currently, we are participating in Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Drive.  Churches all over the country pack shoeboxes full of personal care items, school supplies, crafts and activities, and toys as a way of sharing God’s love and good news of the gospel around the world.  CBF has a goal of preparing at least 50 shoeboxes and we’d love to have your help in getting this done.  We are expediting the process by buying items for the shoeboxes but you can choose to make your own shoebox.

So, How Can You Help?

Give a $$monetary contribution$$ now OR complete a pledge form at church to give a contribution OR stuff a shoebox yourself with items you select. (All the information you need i.e., age groups and what to pack for a self-packed shoebox is HERE or use QR Code #1 below[i]).   We ask that your giving be completed as soon as possible; and the deadline for getting your self-packed shoebox to CBF is November 12, 2023.

When making a contribution, please indicate it’s for “Shoeboxes”. Ways to give:

  1. During Sunday worship service via offering envelope.
  2. On-line at GiveSafe. CLICK HERE; give as a guest if you don’t have an account; use drop down menu to donate money by clicking Specify Category (bottom box), add the word “Shoebox” and enter the amount you chose to give;
  3. Send a check to the Church Office at Covenant Blessing Fellowship, 1008 N. Avalon #400, Wilmington, CA 90748.

Lastly, the children receiving the shoeboxes love to get letters from the senders. A few templates are being created to assist with preparing the letters. They will be available this Sunday at church and on Facebook. You can also send the Operation Christmas Child created letter found using QR Code #2 below
