Prayer

Covenant Blessing Fellowship (CBF) believes the members of the Body of Christ have a common call to be a house of prayer. All members are encouraged to heed the words of our Savior when He told a parable that in effect indicated, that men ought always to pray and not lose heart. (Luke 18:1)

We, at CBF, believe prayer is personally communing with God for oneself or on behalf of another/others in and with the authority of Jesus Christ, our Lord. We know that the Holy Spirit helps with our weaknesses by interceding for us according to the will of God which gives us confidence that we can approach God’s throne. (Romans 8:26-27; Hebrews 4:16)

In addition to our personal prayer time, CBF has designated times (monthly, weekly) where we can come together to pray about the execution of the vision of CBF; issues and concerns identified by leadership and our servant equippers; things God puts on the hearts of CBF intercessors; and personal requests from members, family, friends, and co-workers who trust us to communicate with God on their behalf. Our communion with and prayers to God are specifically for aligning our wills, our lifestyles, and our purpose so that God will be glorified.

In addition to CBF leadership, the CBF Prayer Council is currently responsible for coordinating some of the prayer ministry activities.
