Covenant Blessing Fellowship

6th Annual Season of Giving (2020)

 NOVEMBER 1 - DECEMBER 21

Thank you for your interest in our annual Season of Giving (CBF-SOG). In 2020 we are celebrating our SIXTH year of continued grace, mercy and covering by our Lord and Savior!

This past year has been particularly challenging in a variety of ways yet our resolve remains

We intend to continue showing all who can see that Jesus Christ still reigns and His love for us has not changed

As in years past we are providing support in 3 ways:

  1. For any CBF families who find themselves struggling to provide food for their families or gifts for their children, we don't want you to endure silently, nor for any in our younger generation to be denied sharing in the Holy-day spirit. Just email us at CBF.MINISTRIES1@GMAIL.COM and we will do all we can to help your family.
  2. We are supporting children internationally through Operation Christmas Child by Samaritan's Purse This organization sends the Gospel of Christ and Christmas gifts to children all over the world.  CBF has provided gifts for over 60 children through this ministry since the inception of CBF-SOG.

If your family would like to participate in this effort, please follow the instructions below

  1. Send an email to CBF.MINISTRIES1@GMAIL.COM with your  family name and preferred gender(s) and age(s) of to-be-sponsored child(ren) . The
  2. ranges of ages are: 2-4, 5-9, and 10-14. Note that donations are usually made for the 2-4 range in abundance, so they ask for more donations in the older categories
  3. Find a Shoebox - Start with an average-size cardboard or plastic shoebox. If you want to wrap it, cover the box and lid separately.
  4. Use the Samaritan Purse Links below to guide you on the items that can be placed in the box.:

This year, we will have two drive-               up,  drop-off days at the sanctuary at 1215 Robidoux              Ave in WILMINGTON, CA from 9am-NOON on NOVEMBER            21, 2020 and DECEMBER 19, 2020. Just bring your                           donations and we will delivery to the food bank at the end          of day.       and Family Ministry Leader for CBF, Pastor Les Higgins (now

the senior Pastor of TrueWay Baptist Church in Los

Angeles). Since this partnership began we have provided

gifts to 25 mothers and their children, as well as providing

a free holiday meal as a symbol of God's continued love

and provision during challenging times. All donations for

the local family support will be financial to comply with

COVID-19 restrictions. See below for financial giving

       instructions

For all the above activities above, we would love for you to contribute financially through any of the methods available on our GIVING PAGE. We ask that anyone taking advantage of this method please make sure to highlight that your gift is going to "CBF-SOG" to ensure properly allocation.

This year, due to the pandemic restrictions, we are adjusting our normal methods. We are going to be safe, yet still thoughtful and generous, as we allow God's blessings to flow through us.

Please be informed that the time-frame this year is tightened so if you are interested in participating please don't hesitate in showing support.
